Hey guys, I’m Sarah! I’m a working actor, casting director, and audition coach who is focused on helping regional actors get to the next level.

As an actor myself, I know how frustrating it is trying to navigate this industry. After graduating acting school, I quickly realized that good training and technique will only get you so far. Even with a great foundation and passion for the craft, it felt nearly impossible to become a working actor. Forget booking a big role; I couldn’t even book an interview with talent agent!

 

I started my career by taking any job that had anything to do with acting. From kid’s birthday parties to volunteering on indie film sets. I learned a lot from those experiences, and no matter how small, they added value to building my acting resume.

However, it wasn't until I worked at a talent agency that I got to see how the process actually works. This changed my entire approach and I started booking work. Like, GOOD work! And I finally felt like I had some control over my career.

 

So for the last decade, I've been coaching and consulting others on taking control of their acting career. It’s not luck or karma! It’s about knowing your region, understanding your “type”, marketing yourself appropriately, and submitting a great audition. The path is different for every actor because every actor is different!
