About The Event
We've designed Film Acting Summer Camp for serious young actors who want to immerse themselves in screen acting. Your child will explore the diverse foundations that make up this exciting yet challenging craft; discovering on-set essentials that include script breakdown, production etiquette, industry lingo, crew roles, and cinema equipment, as well as camera awareness, composition, and key focal points.
Through hands-on experience, this camp offers your child an opportunity to learn the unique demands of film acting. Using both “prepared” sides and “cold readings,” they will gain invaluable acting techniques, allowing them to be more confident and practiced when auditioning and performing in front of the camera.

Note to Parents:
• Please pack a lunch for your child throughout camp week.
• Each day, campers are to be dropped off at 11a.m. and picked up
at 3p.m.
• We will send rehearsal footage out at the end of the camp week.
You may use this for self-critique, casting and agency sites, or
general self-promotion.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
SARAH EAST (owner, The Audition Room) is a working actress and member of the Screen Actors Guild. After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2005, Sarah spent time in New York City performing sketch comedy and improv before moving to Louisville, where she's grown her theatrical and on-camera resume to include nearly 100 Co-Star, Spokesperson, and Principal credits in film/TV, commercial, and live shows. Her work as a private acting coach has been credited with helping countless students and adults book on-camera roles in box office feature films, episodics, independent projects, and commercials.
NEIL MULAC (owner, Everything Cinema Productions), is a working actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, and teacher. He is an alumnus of the University of Louisville, where he studied both Theatre and English. You can catch him in a variety of stage, commercial, film, and television projects.
