Once you've registered, we'll follow up with an email to ask you to send your HS/Resume (or just a recent photo) so that we can start pulling potential monologues fit for you.

About the Instructors:

Keith McGill has been a free-lance theatre teacher and workshop facilitator for over two decades for organizations including Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Behind Bars, Commonwealth Theatre, and Actors Theatre’s New Voices playwriting program. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville. 

His film credits include THE PUBLIC with Alec Baldwin, ROMAN CITIZEN, and NOTHING WITHOUT YOU.

Keith is also a stage actor. He has appeared in productions with Actors Theatre, Looking for Lilith, and Stage One Family Theatre. 

Keith also works as a stand-up comedian, appearing nationally on LAUGHS on FOX, CMT, BET, and the Bob and Tom Show, and as a featured entertainer on Royal Caribbean and Holland America Cruise Lines

Sarah East (Owner and Instructor at The Audition Room) is a working actress, casting director, and member of the Screen Actors Guild. She’s worked as an Audition Coordinator and Acting Coach with the area's largest talent agency and production companies for almost a decade, learning the casting process from the inside out. After graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2005, Sarah spent time in New York City performing sketch comedy and improv before moving to Louisville, where she's grown her theatrical and on-camera resume to include nearly 100 Co-Star, Spokesperson, and Principal credits in film/tv, commercial, and live shows. Sarah's work as a private acting coach has been credited with helping students and adults book on-camera roles in box office feature films, tv shows, and commercials.
