About The Event

This 4-week class is it designed for beginning actors of William Shakespeare. Join us for an introduction to text, technique, preparation, and application. We will be utilizing speeches from Shakespeare's greatest works, selected for your type . Plus,  

walk away with a video demo of the speech by the end of the course!

Week 1: Introductions + Breaking Down a Speech

Week 2: Punctuation & Meter + Speech Work

Week 3: Imagery & Focal Points + Speech Work

Week 4: Speech Work + Performances / Taping 

DATES: Sundays, October 27 - November 17

About the Instructor:

V. Reibel is a native of Louisville who holds a Masters in Acting from the University of Houston. She is trained in acting by the PATP (Professional Actor Training Program). Victoria will be available at the Audition Room for accent coaching, stage acting coaching, movement, character development, and continuing acting education classes.
