Actors Access is widely viewed as the #1 casting site used by actors to secure auditions and

book work- IF you know what you’re doing.

For example, did you know that those with footage on their profile get their submission moved to the top of the stack? With an average of over 500 submissions for any given role, that’s a huge advantage.

Even without a demo reel you can still make yourself more marketable by creating a Slate Shot. This seven-second clip, which actors attach to their profile, is simply a video extension of their headshot.

With all of this in mind, The Audition Room and Everything Cinema Productions are teaming up to bring you a weekend tutorial on how to use, and get the most out of Actors Access and other casting sites. It will be an event filled with valuable tips, tricks, AND professionally produced Slate Shots for all who sign up!

DAY 1: Actors Access Seminar

DAY 2: Individual Slate Shot Sessions

[Sunday, January 19 - Scheduled in 20-minute time slots by appointment after registration]

*NOTE:  Day 2’s Slate Shot Sessions are by Appointment only. Sessions are scheduled in 20-minute blocks. You will have access to a signup form for these sessions once you’ve registered.

About the Instructor:

Sarah East (Owner and Instructor at The Audition Room) is a working actress, casting director, and member of the Screen Actors Guild. She’s worked as an Audition Coordinator and Acting Coach with the area's largest talent agency and production companies for almost a decade, learning the casting process from the inside out. After graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2005, Sarah spent time in New York City performing sketch comedy and improv before moving to Louisville, where she's grown her theatrical and on-camera resume to include nearly 100 Co-Star, Spokesperson, and Principal credits in film/tv, commercial, and live shows. Sarah's work as a private acting coach has been credited with helping students and adults book on-camera roles in box office feature films, tv shows, and commercials.

Neil Mulac (Owner, Everything Cinema Productions), is a professional actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, and teacher. He is an alumnus of the University of Louisville, where he studied both Theatre and English. Neil has appeared in numerous plays, music videos, commercials, films, and television projects, including the Hallmark channel's original film, An Uncommon Grace and the award-winning short film, Like Fiction. He has also co-hosted and instructed a wide variety of acting classes and workshops including, Improv for On-Camera Auditions, Intro to Physical Comedy, Accessing Emotions for Actors, and most recently, Film Acting Summer Camp.
