About The Event
Casting directors will tell you: It's the little moments and choices that make or break an audition. Knowing about these nuances will give you more confidence and control over your audition experiences.Â
During the webinar, we'll share the insights we've learned through years of professional acting, coaching, audition coordinating, and casting experience.
These aren't tips you'll find in an acting book. And it's not information your agent is likely to share.
Coach Sarah said, "As an actor, once I learned what happens "behind the curtain," it changed how I auditioned completely. I saw a marked increase in bookings, and auditioning was actually fun again!"
Through this webinar, you will gain insights on how, and when, to utilize things like:
- Improv/Ad Lib
- Props
- Action in script sides
- Stillness
- Snapshot Moments
- Paraphrasing
- Pace/Energy
- Research - Understanding the "world" of the show or film, AND your character's place within it
- Technical Elements - Styling, Framing, and Focal Points
